Curators' Statement
From 2008-2018, community artists contributed to a series of annual exhibits which began at the Resnikoff Gallery at Roxbury Community College and expanded to Harriet Tubman House at United South End Settlements.
Students and faculty from Roxbury Community College, Massachusetts College of Art and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts joined the community artists, contributing art and co-curating at Roxbury Community College.
Gail Bos and Carol Daynard represented Violence Transformed as curators with participation from Gilda Ette, L’Merchie Frazier, Ekua Holmes, Chelsea Revelle, and Richard Rozewski.
