Artist Statement
Violence Transformed has been a high point and very important part of my life. VT’s mission resonates deeply with me. Regarding my work in this exhibit: In “School Daze” I’m making a plea for gun control by showing what our children should not be experiencing. In “Is Anybody Out There?” we see a post-apocalyptic world destroyed by violence and sickness in which a young girl is left alone to fend for herself.
