Artist Statement
My practice is rooted in social justice, using imagery to bring injustice into the light. I want to cultivate a culture of visibility, where our unseen connections are exposed by fixing our gaze across the borders constructed to separate us. I have exhibited and curated with VT over six years and am honored to have received The Castonguay Appelbaum Award in VT’s Shelter exhibit. VT continues to be a strong artistic partner in creating space for art to spread justice.
