About This Exhibition

Violence Transformed and Lesley University are pleased to present their 2018 exhibit and symposium, Women Against Violence: Resistance and Resilience. This exhibition marks their 5th Annual Future of the Past event and showcases artwork that demonstrates the power of artists as activists, addressing issues of violence, inequality or harassment against women. We use “women” in broad and inclusive terms to include non-binary, trans, gender queer, femmes, etc. The event and exhibit will feature different voices to uncover the multiple, complex, conflicting, and inspiring discourses surrounding this topic.
